What You Need to Make Money

So what do you need to make money? Why is it that some people seem to have a money magnet on them and others can't find two nickels to rub together? Attitude has a tremendous amount to do with the things that happen in life. Many people wait for things to happen, other people watch things happen, and then there are the people who get up and make things happen.

The people who make things happen have something in common. They are not afraid to try. They may fail dozens of times before they find something that really works, but when they find that gem they work at it with all their strength. Many of the world's best baseball players who had the record amounts of home runs also have very high numbers of strikeouts. The ones who continually strike out are the same ones who hit all the home runs! How can that be? The reason is that no one hits a home run until they swing the bat. The more they swing, the greater the chance of hitting a home run! No swinging, no home runs.

That is the way it is when you need to make money. The people who have tremendous amounts of money also have incredible debt sometimes. Some wise person said that if you are going to make omelets you are going to have to break some eggs. That is the way the system works. If you need to make money, you have to do something about it. You have to get in the game and make things happen. You have to be willing to take a chance and step out and make things happen. You have to be willing to try some things you may never have done before.

The people who are incredibly successful are no different than you, with one exception. Everyone has people around them who seem to have the gift of discouragement. Not only are they personally discouraged, they try to keep everyone else around them discouraged as well. The key is never to allow another person to decide what you are going to do. At some point you have to stop listening to what everyone else is saying and make a decision for yourself and do something different! Get up and do it!

Future potential is the same for everyone. Some look forward to what they are going to do to make things happen. Others fear what might happen and wait for it. Which one are you?
